While some players are facing issues with their form, some could be crucial to the encounter. Here is a look at the Top 5 Players to watch out for IND vs SA.

1) MS Dhoni: The Indian skipper has been not got the runs flowing from his bat for a really long time. Unarguably India’s best limited-over batsman in the current squad after Virat Kohli, Dhoni needs to start firing soon if India’s chances in the tournament have to become stronger.

2) Quinton de Kock: The left-handed opener was having a golden run against the Indians in late 2013 when the team from sub-continent had toured the Proteas land. The wicket-keeper batsman struck three centuries in as many matches in the series to decimate India. At the MCG, he will resume his love with the Indian bowling and if he gets going, South Africa is set to post a massive total on the board.

3) Morne Morkel: There are few bowlers around the world who can generate the kind disconcert bounce that Morne Morkel can. Alongside Dale Steyn, he makes the most dangerous new ball pair in the tournament. Even as Indian batsmen showed great character while dealing against the Pakistani bowlers, Morkel will surely test the Indian batsmen. He has enough variations too up his sleeves to cause havoc.

4) Rohit Sharma: He hasn’t played too many limited-overs matches since India arrived Down under, but whenever he did, the Mumbai batsman looked good. He is well-equipped to deal with pace, bounce and swing. However, almost everytime, it is he who brings about his own downfall. If he gets going, he has been known to post big scores.

5) Ravindra Jadeja: The all-rounder has been in the side for a long time without doing much of note. With the bat, he often gets just a few overs to prove his credentials and the pitches in Australia offer little help for his left-arm turners. However, he needs to step up and prove more useful for the side than what his currently contribution suggests. (Also Read: IND vs SA Match Preview here)
